No acces to wifi and tv

The place is very peaceful and quiet. I enjoyed taking a walk by the river, very peaceful and tranquil.

I did not like the fact that I was there all alone, I should have brought some family members with😅😅. Now I got to explore and experience the place all alone. I will be back, and I am bringing my family with next time.

If you are looking for a quiet and tranquil place to stay Magalies Retreat is the place to come to for a good rest. We stayed in a very rustic cottage called Sunshine and enjoyed our one night stay. Although we did not get to meet the Owner / Manager, we did communicate on whatsapp and the response was sharp. Rivaldo came to meet us at the gate on a quad bike and took us to the cottage and then showed us where the pool was.

As the weather was poorly, we did not get to swim or see the Hot Air Balloons that the area is reknowned for. I guess we need to come back again hey.

This place was the closest to where we wanted to attend an event. The amenities were average but some areas needed attention. Thanks to the owners for letting us use their property.

The kitchen was poorly supplied. There was one glas each of many different shapes and sizes. Some of the glasses were even plastic (two of these were similar). There were no hangers in the cupboard. The water pressure is reduced after 22h00 and showering is then not possible.
