Firefinch Country Cottage

The guy came out to us as there was water puddles and we don't know if we must drive through them. The guy came very quickly and up to the car. He said we must just follow him. He took us to the cottage and checked everything with us and handed over the keys.

Only problem we had was no jug for the pack of milk we bought. The power that went out in the middle of the night. We got a SMS the next morning explaining what happened. We battled with the hot and cold water in the shower. No other problems at all.

What I liked was that the location was convenient for us, especially with my daughter playing a golf tournament nearby. The unit was reasonably clean, and the staff were helpful and friendly when we needed assistance. For the price we paid, it served its purpose well enough.

What I didn’t like was the amount of flies — it made it really hard to relax. There wasn’t any proper space to unpack or store our clothes, which was inconvenient. The shower was also a challenge, with the water either boiling hot or freezing cold — nothing in between. The pool area was disappointing and looked quite neglected. I also didn’t feel completely safe, especially since the place is a bit isolated.
