The area was very quiet (over a Easter weekend), so we could enjoy a peaceful getaway from the city, but not be too far away from shops. Our apartment felt comfortable and private. There were two large dogs who might seem intimidating, but they were actually quite sweet and mostly ignored us while we were there. Overall, we had a lovely stay.
We experienced several brief power cuts during our stay - not sure if it was just the apartments or the entire area. We also had a rogue pocket light in the bedroom that would switch on randomly, sometimes waking us up at night. The shower would also benefit from having a curtain/ door installed because the floor would get very wet after a shower.

We had been moved from the room that we were booked, into a different room. Although it wasn't a train smash as the rooms were still well kept and looked great, it was a bit of an inconvenience and unsettling to be had to be moved around like that
