The location was very good, close to many places and convenient for getting around. The price was also fair for what the place offers.
There was a little noise from the street, which is normal in Hanoi, but I expected it to be less noticeable when the balcony door was closed.

Such an easy space to live in for a week. Great location just off the Truc Bach Island - coffee shops, restaurants, bakeries, hairdressers, Chau Long market, Swan pedalos on the lake, beer halls, wine bars, outdoor exercising.
Natural light, views of the lake and all that space sealed the deal.
Check in was easy peasy, welcoming staff.
A lovely, joyful lady offered us complimentary water as well as fresh towels, daily. Unexpected at this price point.
The property is a little tired and would benefit from a deep clean, but that is built into the price.
Would definitely stay here again.

View from the studio apartment
Expectations from overstated reviews. Bathroom tired. Kitchen worktop & utensils didn't appear clean. Apartment generally OK but not as expected given the reviews we'd seen.
