Wendy’s Casita heeft alles voor een fijne vakantie: het is een ruim huis, rustig gelegen, zeer proper, een heerlijk terras met een prachtig uitzicht op de zonsopgang, een ruime parking en een host die heel dienstvaardig is en snel reageert. Kortom, een absolute aanrader!

As the property is self-catering, breakfast did not apply. We loved the privacy and the friendliness of the hostess. My dogs loved the garden. Most of all, we loved the fantastic views from the terraces. This is a delightful, old-fashioned, traditional house where you can really switch off and relax. Not pretentious but all your needs are met. A good Internet connection should you need it. An ideal spot to chill out and enjoy nature. Parking is right below your house and there is a fair sized supermarket in the nearby town of Càdiar which is about a 10 minute drive away. A pleasant, shaded walk to Àlcutar, which is also part of Bérchules. When the adjacent hotel is open, there is also a swimming pool in summer and a restaurant. Such wonderfully quiet nights and clear skies. We had booked for 3 nights but decided to stay on a extra night as we liked it so much. Thank you, Paula!

True, the property does need a little TLC on some fixtures, such as the window blinds. There could also be more varied dishes, glassware and above all, a salad bowl! One does not go on holiday to cook but on some evenings, it is pleasant to stay at home and enjoy a meal on the terrace. These are all issues which can easily be remedied and we do hope to return again next year for another break.
