The caretaker is super friendly, helpful and accommodating. As she only knows Vietnamese, she is patient with translations. It is located in District 10, which is about 25 minutes away from the airport, and about 15 minutes away from District 1. There is a bus stop as soon as you walk towards the main road. There are 24/7 stores, eateries, and its close to a public hospital so a lot of street food vendors come here during daytime. The Van Hanh Mall is extremely close by and it will take quite a while to explore everything! They even have a multiplex so you can check that out as well. The hotel is great for solo travellers who are not only looking for a budget accomodation in the heart of the city, but also who intend to explore HCMC in their own time and pace. Side note: If you also rent a motorbike, you can also park it inside the hotel space.

Die Lage ist sehr zentral und gleichzeitig ruhig, da sich die Unterkunft in einer Seitenstraße befindet. In der Umgebung findet man alles, was man braucht. Beim Check-in wurde ich freundlich begrüßt und die Mitarbeiterin war trotz Sprachbarriere sehr bemüht. WLAN und Klimaanlage haben einwandfrei funktioniert, und es gibt ausreichend Steckdosen im Zimmer.

Die Küche und die sanitären Anlagen waren leider häufig nicht sauber. Der Kühlschrank war stark überfüllt und kaum nutzbar. Die Unterkunft wirkt auf den Fotos deutlich heller und offener als in der Realität – tatsächlich ist es recht dunkel und es gibt kaum Fenster nach draußen. Das Zimmer ist sehr klein und bietet kaum Platz für Gepäck, außerdem war die Matratze extrem hart. Unangenehm war auch, dass ein Fisch allein in einem kleinen Glas ohne Pflanzen oder Versteckmöglichkeiten gehalten wird. Zudem ist es unpraktisch, dass man nur bar oder per QR-Code bezahlen kann.
