We loved the cleanliness and that the ski gondola is attached to the resort.

Resort has everything we need and the ski slopes is just in the resort. The variety of restaurants is also good and the food quality is excellent.
We wished there are more dining options that are more casual for dinner.

Great location on the mountain, nice onsen, comfortable rooms, and friendly staff.
The food options were lacking. There were limited breakfast options and nothing opened early enough. We didn't like only having the resort food as an option (no independent vendors, cafes and restaurants nearby).

Modern, clean and well positioned.
Use of the First Class pass system caused unsavoury queuing practices in lift lines. Poor snow clearing to make ski runs available and wide access to the mountain. Snow clearing for vehicle access was deficient and inadequate. It should have occurred daily and more professionally so as to provide better road safety.
