Excellent location. Nice, authentic "Japanese" flavor to the place, although the in-floor kotatsu with undertable heating was missing the typical blanket to hold the heat under the table.
A western-style easy chair or two in living room would be nice for "western comfort". The city maps provided were helpful, but a bit more tourist/sight/restaurant information would be great.

The house was perfect for our few nights stay, self checkin process was easy and convenient
One of us was allergic to something upstairs, had to wear a mask to sleep, probably the dust, an air purifier can probably fix the issue

Lovely traditional Japanese decoration and interior. Great location by river, quiet but near to town. Really enjoyed staying at the property
