Maison parfaitement et intelligemment aménagée dans le respect des traditions. Bien situé, a proximité de commerces, restaurants. Quartier calme proche de beaux sites a visiter. Check in et out très simples et rapides. Merci.

In a terrific location a little bit away from the crush of tourists during the busy time and a little more local feeling. Loved the authentic atmosphere, garden and pottery. Beds were very comfortable. Art and design. And so close to the spectacular river and blooming cherry trees.
Steps up to the bedrooms are very steep but that’s what you get in an older traditional home which is what we wanted!

The host was very hospitable! He met us at the train station and delivered us to the property and went over the rules and such. The property was clean and well-appointed. The location was great with many temples and shrines in the immediate area. It was also a convenient walk to the town center. This location was truly what we wanted from a traditional Japanese townhome!
