What an amazing experience from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The staff were amazing, made us feel welcome and were extremely helpful, providing us with information and, guidance, they honestly couldnt had done anything more to make the stay better. We have travelled across China, and found alot of the accommodations to be dated from the pictures, but not this one. It honestly is beautiful, It really was everything we expected and more. Thank you for an amazing stay ❤️

Not an issue really, however the markets that are advertised are nolonger acti e, being closed down some years before, however did not alter our stay and experience.

Staff was very helpful and tge location was central Dumpling workshop giving by staff was great experience and great China memory

This hotel sets a new standard in service. I work in hospitality and have stayed in hundreds of hotels. The front desk team, led by Felix, takes customer satisfaction to the next level. One of the things I wanted to do in Beijing was take my kids to Robot world, a super fun interactive tour showcasing the state of the art in robotics. I’d tried and failed to get what turned out to be very in-demand tickets, which was disappointing. The hotel owner himself contacted the exhibit organizers and arranged tickets. To be sure it all went smoothly Laura, one of the hotel staff, accompanied us. This is literally unheard of levels of service. But it didn’t stop there! The bar is just the funnest place. Lots of laughter and fun people, and the barman is a genuinely lovely guy. Urbrew is a truly excellent beer. Try it! The actual hotel is fabulous. Brand new, everything works, perfect bedding and pillows, electric curtains, quiet, great sleep. The location is bang in the heart of Beijings hutong district of narrow atmospheric alleys. Anything you will want to do is with 15-20 minutes in a Didi (China’s Uber). Lots to do on foot. Travelling in China is a little more challenging (in a good way!) because very few people speak English and none of the usual apps work here. Happy Dragon staff all speak English and will help you navigate the local apps (top tip : download Alipay and verify your payment before you leave). This was an exceptional experience that establishes a new level service at this price point.
