We Loved that the owner's of the property were so readily available to us. It was great to work with people whom genuinely care about their home and how it accommodates guests to SSI.
We were able to enjoy the area mainly by bicycles from Zoom Bike Rental. Super easy and convenient @ a great price.
The area is FULL of Great Restaurants within a 5-15 min leisurely bike ride, or a 5-10 min car ride depending on traffic; same for the beach (15 mins by bike).
We booked in the area b/c we're DDD fan's and several restaurants had been featured.
Dulce Dough is VERY close and LEGIT - BEST DONUTS EVER!!
We also Loved that this is a very Dog friendly area and hope to come back with our dogs some day!
Beware of the "no See-ums" - my son and I have THE blood type that they're attracted to and were pretty bit up, have DEET if that's you.
Other than that - GREAT AREA!
We're usually FL Spring Breakers from MI, but couldn't resist ALL the greatness we kept seeing on DDD. It certainly isn't FL (West Coast), BUT still FUN and we hope to come back soon. Great History in this Area as well. Lots to explore.
My hubby and son did a charter fishing trip and we also did a Kayak trip and saw lots of wildlife, including dolphins.

This was the perfect place for our family of 5 to spend a long weekend in our happy place of St. Simon’s Island. Immaculately maintained, comfortable, spacious, well stocked, and very convenient to all our favorite places in SSI. Also, very quite with convenient and ample parking. Loved it, highly recommend!
