Great stay in Pagosa Springs.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this property and the time in Pagosa Springs. The notations in this review are in an effort for Evolve and the property owner to make improvements to elevate the guest experience and hopefully help this owner generate more rental income in the future.
Pros:
- Clean up arrival
- Location on the northeast side of Pagosa Springs very close to the Wolf Creek Summit
- Fast internet
- Large space on the 2nd floor
- King Bed in one of the rooms on the 1st Floor
- A lot of windows
- High quality and quantity of dishes
Opportunities:
- The outdoor space & yard if not maintained - upon driving up the cottage looks abandoned / neglected
- No welcome one-pager, binder or anything at the property to give the guests instructions on how to use and where to find things at the home
- No instructions for using the televisions
- No internet instructions (the check-in instructions stated they would be at the property) -- the password was hand written (poorly) on a random sheet on the pinboard in the kitchen
- The outdoor furniture was limited and poor - one chair was worn by the weather and not safe
- The deck is failing apart in a couple of places, though it looks like some repairs were made recently
- There was a broken microwave on the 2nd floor deck and looks like a broken refrigerator in the back of the property
- Having the family pictures up in the hallway was kind of weird.
The biggest disappointment with this property was the outside space. With some clean-up work and investment the weeds could be eliminated and the side driveway could be a great place for outdoor games (which we brought but could not use). An outdoor fire pit area would be a nice touch. The property definitely has potential and in a great location, but for what we paid to stay for three nights I do feel ripped off.
I hope the property owner can make some improvements so that the future families can enjoy a nice stay at this property.
