- If you are bringing a dog, please note that the property does contain some Noogoora (cockle burr) bushes that can be toxic to dogs
- The water level in the river can be very high between late April and mid-June. Therefore, during this time, the private dock will not be accessible
- Because there is frequently a burn ban starting mid/late summer, we have a movie projector and outdoor screen that guests can hook up to watch movies outside near the fire pit area. The projector can be connected to phones or computers to stream movies
- Your safety matters. This property features 1 exterior security camera located on the front porch facing the driveway. The cameras are outward facing and do not look into interior spaces. The cameras record video and sound at all time

We had an absolutely amazing time at the River House. The house was very clean, beautifully decorated and very cosy. The house was equipped with everything we needed and outdoor activities were also available to us. The walk to the river was easily done and we enjoyed the swimming opportunity. The host quickly responded to any questions I had and check in was easily accomplished. Strongly recommend the River House for a getaway.

This was our 2nd time here and we will definitely be back. Beautiful, quiet, peaceful spot close to great accommodations. We spent so much time just sitting on the deck enjoying the river view with the mountain backdrop. The home has everything you could possibly need and some things you didn't know you needed and now have to purchase for your own home 😁The host, Karie, is always super quick in responding and is a saint for sharing this little slice of heaven. STAY HERE!! You won't be disappointed!!!!

My family celebrated Thanksgiving in this beautiful riverfront cabin and it will be a holiday we will never forget. From wild turkeys walking by, the the sighting of a great blue heron, to the calm and peace of the river....it was just an amazing spot. When it came to the amenities of the house - WOW! We could make a full Thanksgiving meal and we weren't missing anything - from spices to tablecloths to crock pots and a wine fridge. After dinner we sat by the fire and played games (they have a ton) and then wobbled off to VERY comfortable beds. We are still talking about what a great time we had and definitely want to go back!

The river house is the ideal answer for a totally relaxing break from the hubbub of daily life. Remote, but not too remote, spacious, with terrific views of peaceful water and the sounds of many varieties of winged wildlife. On a recent stay there my son and I felt totally refreshed and determined to book several more nights soon.
