We are the fourth generation to run our winery in Kröv on the Middle Moselle. As a family-run business, we cultivate an area of approximately 5 ha. Our passion is Riesling, with its diverse aromas and lively acidity, which finds ideal conditions here on the steep slopes. The light, floral Rivaner and the fruity Kerner round out our selection of white wines. Pinot Noir (red wine, rosé, and Blanc de Noir) and Dornfelder complete the lineup. Combining tradition with modernity—that’s the only way to produce the finest quality wine.
Since a wine’s quality is rooted in its cultivation, we manage our vineyards as naturally as possible with a focus on quality.
The grapes are primarily harvested by hand and selected for quality. This is followed by gentle pressing and a slow, temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks. These quality-enhancing measures, combined with careful winemaking, speak for themselves.
Our vineyards are located on the best sunny, steep slopes, such as Kröver Steffensberg and Kröver Letterlay.
There, on heat-retaining slate soils, wines full of character and terroir-driven qualities thrive.
Each individual vineyard has its own microclimate, which is carefully managed to bring out the full flavor and character of the finished wine.
