The house was very well suited for the small family reunion that we had there. There was a lot of space and many places to sit and talk. It was clean and had a lovely view.It has a fenced in yard and a space for the kids to play upstairs also. There was plenty of space to park as parking on the street on the cul-de-sac was very accessible. There were tables with 6-8 chairs inside and out on the porch as well. The kitchen had the basics and had plenty of paper towels and TP.

The location of this house is quite nice. Very peaceful, quiet and relaxing. There is plenty of room for extended family. Please note - at this time the yard is NOT fully enclosed. There are steps from the deck to the side yard with no gate allowing dogs to escape easily.

Property exceeded our expectations. More than enough space for us, our adult kids, aunt and uncle, and our married chiildren at Cherry Point to get together for a family getaway. Near New Bern and Morehead, but far enough for a private retreat. We look forward to our next stay.

Bring your own sheets unless you like to sleep with polyester. Towels and washcloths also. The ones provided were clean but old. Dirty under beds and couch and some other areas. We loved the back porch and access to kayak and fishing area.
