Lake Helen Waterfront Retreat with fire pit and dock

Welcome to Cedar Cove Cottage, hosted by Simple Life Rentals! This charming lake house is situated directly on the serene shores of Lake Helen and equipped with all the amenities for outdoor enjoyment.

Wade into the 2-foot water and cool off with the kids! The lake has soft loam in the shallow waters. Navigate the grassy shoreline to enter the shallow crystal clear water. Take a look at those aerial photos! 2 canoes and 1 paddleboat are available for guest use!

The Lake has quiet 'no wake' times in the early morning and late afternoon ideal for fishing and relaxation. Feel free to bring your boat and leave it at the dock. The water around the dock is shallow (about 2 feet) so a pontoon will work best.
You will have the entire house, yard, and dock to yourself! You can also drive or walk the 1 mile to Lake Helen County Park that offers a boat launch, swimming beach, and a playground.

It's very close to the snowmobile trails for winter fun! Nearby, you'll find supper clubs, a café, and taverns.

1 well-behaved dog up to 40 pounds is allowed. There is an additional fee collected at booking. Dogs must be always leashed outside.

Bedroom 1 (main level): Queen size bed, ceiling fan, A/C window unit, hangers, extra pillows and blankets
Bedroom 2 (main level): One full size day bed with twin trundle, ceiling fan, hangers, extra pillows and blankets
Living room (main level): Queen size pull-out sofa couch
 
Bathrooms:
Bathroom 1 (main level): Full bathroom with tub shower combo and hair dryer
Bathroom 2 (Main level): Full bathroom with walk-in shower

Amenity + damage protection waiver includes:
-Bed linens, pillows, blankets, and bathroom towels. (Please bring your own beach towels)
-A starter pack of essentials which includes toilet paper, paper towel, dish soap, dishwasher soap, hand soap, and garbage bags. Due to septic systems, we do not provide facial tissue. One each of travel size shampoo, conditioner, and body wash per full bathroom.
-PEACE OF MIND Damage protection covers up to $1000 per stay for accidental damage that is reported prior to departure (excludes any pet damage).

Home Truths:
• Property does not have great cell reception. Wi-fi is available for calls as your provider allows. Reception is best near lake or at nearby county park entrance.
• No central air however both bedrooms have window units and ceiling fans
• No garage access

This property is located in a quiet community with neighbors and is geared towards quiet family vacations. Due to the proximity of neighbors and municipal restrictions, we cannot accommodate parties at the property including bachelor or bachelorette parties, reunions, weddings, or other gatherings.

Property is equipped with decibel and smoking monitoring sensors located inside and outside of the home. Please do not remove or tamper with these devices.
