Leno Villa has stood here since 1886, looking out over the same fields and river valley that John Constable painted two centuries ago. From the front bedroom, that view is still yours - Dedham Vale stretching out exactly as it has for generations.
Inside, the house balances period character with genuine comfort. The main bedroom is a king, with a further double and single room, plus a trundle bed and double sofa bed available, comfortably sleeping 8 across the house - ideal for a family gathering or two families travelling together.
The third bedroom is accessed through the second, which works well for families travelling together or groups who don't mind sharing that connection and gives the layout a slightly different rhythm to a standard house. (See the floor plan in the photos for the full layout.)
Outside, the garden has been newly landscaped and is one of the best reasons to stay. A proper seating area with a parasol, a dartboard and chalkboard for evening games, and a BBQ for long summer dinners outdoors - all enclosed and secure, and very well suited to dogs.
