It’s more like an HMO . The shared bathroom is used by ALOT of people including a family . Mainly single men so not advisable for solo female traveller . The bathroom is not pleasant but clean enough . The room was very clean and well maintained.

Over the years we have regularly booked overnight stays using a range of property types and standards. We have never been so shocked by the service provided and genuinely believe it is essential we share our experience to enable others to make an informed decision and hopefully encourage the owners to improve the management of their property which has the potential to be superb. We do not have unreasonable standards and acknowledge that lower star ratings and lower prices are reflected in the service you will receive but it shouldn't impact the basic requirements for an acceptable overnight stay. Our photos show some of the issues but unfortunately there were many more. There were so many spiders, cobwebs and dust that it was necessary for us request use of the vacuum cleaner before we could settle, surprisingly there was no apology or offer of assistance. The floor was too dirty to be able to take our shoes off and the remote was filthy, there was actually visible mould on it. Only one light bulb worked, the blinds were poor fitting and broken. The sinking mattress had only a poorly fitted sheet that was inside out, no mattress protector used. The bathroom was also unclean with more spider webs and spiders, one actually around the handle of the toilet brush. I could continue but I'm running out of characters. I will add that in the morning the entire water supply stopped, we had no explanation only a brief, "sorry but no water" from the host as I left the waterless bathroom

Simple room, comfy bed, individual rooms inside a larger house with shared amenities such as kitchen and bathroom.

Unfortunately you are literally renting a room in shared accommodation. On a positive note we were allowed to check in 2 hours early. Unfortunately the bathrooms were not clean, pubic hair on floor, toilet dirty, top floor family living in the property. Walls need painting, beds while comfy did not sleep in as bedding didn't smell fresh, luckily had a sleeping bag in the car. Had to open the windows due to a smell of faint cigarettes although this could have been from the outside. Only used the kitchen to put milk in the fridge, and the family were cooking dinner. Did not use the cutlery or cups/bowls etc, as did not trust them. Extremely awkward. All in all looks and feels like a HMO and at the price you pay, it wasn't very nice and will book an actual hotel next time. Did not even attempt to walk on the floors without shoes on, the carpets could do with deep clean or in fact replacing altogether.

The cleanliness of ablution facilities was below par. Then also there are residents with kids from next room staying there, going around

Sharing a dirty bathroom with strangers is something I don't relish but at least there was a lock on the door, even if there was no toilet paper. Having a code to enter both the front door and the room itself was not enough. The code opened a box at the twist of a knob inside was the key attached a plastic wire. I was told this, not by the family living there but by a relative, leaving the building. No phone numbers of any kind. The whole thing was more expensive than the great room that I had in Luton.
