1 Bed Apartment in Aylesbury, by ARP HOMES, Town Centre, Perfect Location for Business & Long Stays

Its compact but everything you will need for a short stay, bright and modern feels welcoming from the moment you enter. The block is easy to find and only a stones throw from the theatre and other local amenities.

Parking is the biggest issue here, didn't realise till after the booking that the apartment charges £100 per stay, as I only planned for a 2 night stay I felt this was abit pricey not realising it's very difficult to find over night parking in Aylesbury. My best advice will be if it's a short trip then train in and if its a longer stay then pre book the parking!! Also you will be very surprised to know as there is no mention of this in the booking they do ask for photo ID and unbelievably without blurring important document numbers. If you wish to give passport or drivers licence information to an online portal then that's fine but it flags serious security risks. They ask for this information literal days before your check in so you can't even back out without the loss of money. The added £250 deposit which isn't mentioned either before staying is a slight sting especially when towels and bed linen had stains before we arrived!

Location, parking, facilities and helpful staff. Any query I had was just a phone call away for assistance. Darren even came to make our handset work. Big thanks to everyone.

The mattress was adequate. This was the only negative with the facilities, however it is an important factor.

The location was great for me as I was there to visit the county archives. But the centre of town, with a number of pubs, restaurants, a theatre and a cinema is also only about 5 mins walk from the apartment.

The apartment itself is very sweet but would benefit from a few more kitchen utensils, particularly a baking tray/sheet.

The location was good and the agents were attentive and prompt in sorting out our issues. The apartment building was well maintained with no noise from any other tenants. The bathroom was well appointed. The TV provided Netflix.

It is best suited to a single person who is working rather than a couple on holiday. Rather than elegant it is better described as simple and compact. Traffic noise was intrusive. The apartment gets hot when the sun shines and if the windows are opened the noise increases (there was a fan provided). Kitchen equipment was limited so cooking meals from scratch needed some creative adaptations and the agent provided extra cooking dishes on request. The blinds were not black out blinds so eye mask and ear plugs would be useful. The designated parking area had a barrier which was not working during our stay so parking was a lottery although we did always manage to find a space.
