Lovely traditional hotel, a few minutes walk to the seafront. Train station just across from the main car park. Beautiful gardens and the owners are so friendly and helpful. Bed was very comfortable and the whole hotel is decorated in traditional style. Overall, great hotel, great peacful location and wonderful hosts.

We visit every year if not twice. Lisa who owns it is the most friendliest person cannot do enough to help and is always so welcoming. Had a bottle of wine and glasses put in our room as it was my husband’s birthday so kind of her. We always stay in the front rooms 4 poster bed and big bay windows. Breakfast so lovely and lovely room with the sun shining through over looking the beautiful gardens.

We have stayed with this lady for many years, she is wonderful and nothing is too much trouble. We always stay in the front bay window room and always great. Very reasonable breakfast so good. Great location.

The hotel is very well appointed. Very to close to the beach, buses and railway station. It is however located on a short, but steep hill, that we feel is not suited for those persons with mobility constraints, as there are no lifts. Whilst the owner and staff are very accommodating, apart from a very substantial breakfast, there were no other meals available - due to a shortage of staff. But that is everywhere now. Overall our experience is a very positive one. Well done to all. Thank you.

Absolutely fantastic hotel! Lisa the owner is a lovely lady and always laughing and friendly. The hotel is located behind the train station and a few minute's walk from the sea front. The hotel and gardens are beautiful and the lounge, restaurant and conservatory are lovely. The pool and sunloungers are excellent and the huge front garden is wonderful and a miniature nature reserve including woodpeckers etc! I highly recommend this establishment and we have been able to stay for a few more day's as we've enjoyed ourselves so much! We will be back!! Thank you very much 😊!

Had a fantastic week at the Elmington Hotel Liza the owner was so friendly nothing was to much trouble, beautiful hotel very clean great room looking over beautiful gardens and a sea view, would recommend to everyone, fantastic value for money.

This is a very beautiful place to stay if you enjoy places such as museums and art galleries. It is not modern in its style, but is full of old furniture, paintings, ornaments, vases etc but is immaculately clean. The gardens are beautifully tended. It felt like staying in a stately home.

Absolutely outstanding hotel. Fantastic location close to the popular Corbyn's beach. Very clean rooms with comfortable bed and wonderful sea views from our spacious second floor room. Excellent shower and wash room. Fabulous English all you could eat buffet breakfast every morning. Hotel staff were always greeted us with a welcoming smile and friendly. Hotel outdoor swimming pool was a bonus which we used a few times during our 13 night stay. We will definitely return again.

I really didnt know what to expect from this hotel but from our arrival to leaving after 6 nights we could not have been happier. We booked 2 rooms, 2 adukts ad 18 another for 18 and 21 year old daughters. The owner, who is on site 24/7 could nothave done more to make our stay any better. She is a gr

This hotel had lovely decor and was really well located for the train station. Also, the swimming pool was great. The negatives are not enough loungers - only about 8. Limited bar selection of drinks & breakfast was only served 8.00 - 9.00.

Hotel was very clean and tidy staff were excellent but the beds want replaceing as for the shower you couldn’t swing a cat round pay good money like anyone else and they think you are not going to state your mine

A cozy and well-kept hotel, very nice and helpful staff. Very close to the train station and to many attractions and interesting places in the area and the beach. Minus are single beds in some rooms, which I and my wife with a 2-year internship were not satisfied with. In general, the hotel would count on a plus and recommend to friends.

This hotel was a 2 minute walk from the train station, its very nice well kept and very clean. The food was excellent and hot! Rooms had on suite and were all newly done beds were comfortable and clean. The host was very welcoming, overall we were very pleased.

Ok this independent hotel is not going to be the place if you want a 'posh' weekend away. It is in fact competently standard. The rooms are clean, the staff friendly and the breakfast is traditional with nothing fancy added in. I imagine a bit of sunshine would brighten up the place no end but we enjoyed our late September stay even though the weather was not the best.

Hotel very clean good breakfast comfrortable beds nice decor. On arrival we had a problem on access to the hotel the door was locked no one answered the door bell, fortunately two guests arrived and let us in which was lucky as it was raining. After a short time we found someone and was shown our room.
