Pretty old traditional house, 100+ years old, many things, like locks and door hinges, need maintenance Bed was old also, but clean and enough comfortable Little bit far from main lines, like 10 minutes walk, also not bad Quiet area, I slept with open windows

First of all, i had to wait 25 minutes for my check in even though i had a booking and i already paid. I guess they had a problem with the system. Second, the dorms are very small and there no window. It packed with 6 bads. It is very hard to breathe. 4 would be absolutely fine. Very poor service from the stuff. The leaving room was the only nice place there.

I wish we would’ve booked a hotel or airbnb because we didn’t really save much money by opting for a hostel. we had one thin blanket, one thin pillow and a rock hard matttess in a tiny room. the room that was advertised was not the one we received the actual room was tiny and had no storage. I wish I had spent about 1,000-2,000 yen more for an airbnb. the only plus was the bike rentals for 1,500 yen a day which wasn’t too bad. Overall, unfortunately I would not stay here again.

It’s a very basic hostel/dorm they do not provide towels even if you stay more than a day. Aircon is switched off in the morning till evening and depending on which bed you pick it can be super hot as the bed is quite deep in. There’s only 2 showers which can have a queue when there’s a lot of people. Staff only comes in at 4pm and ends at 9pm which can be hard to catch if you’re out the whole day. I’ve been to similar priced hostels with better facilities and amenities. If I had to choose again I’d think twice.
