Cozy getaway in the middle of Gorges du Verdon

The location is perfect if you want to hike in Gorges du Verdon, most interesting hikes can be started just a 20 minute drive from the camping. The tent felt very cozy. 2 Spots to swim in the river and 2 swimming pools located on the camping, perfect for cooling down after a long hike.

The toilet was extremely small and close to the wall meaning I (1,89m) couldn't sit on the toilet to do my business, I had to sit sideways.... The beds were very hard.

Location is just few km drive from Castellane with great amenities for caravans, tents and travelers who just prefer to use the different types of houses the campus offers. Really liked the policy about cars not being allowed on site after 23.00 for maximizing the quiet period during the night . If you arrive later you just leave your car outside the site until next morning.

The property of the campus is actually split by road D952 that follows the entire gorges du Verdon between Castellane and Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, which sometimes is not very safe for crossing it. Kids for example needs to be accompanied by an adult. No crossing sign or signaled area, just follow your instinct, judgement and luck and hope that the next caravan or bike group will slow down. I didn’t used my hearing abilities so much in long time to make sure I don’t hear any engine approaching.

There was an activities cabin where you could book tours directly on the property and it was on the gorge. The staff were friendly and helpful as well.

Everything else - it was “low season” but the property advertised an on-site restaurant and pool, but didn’t say everything would be closed during our stay in early May. The cabin was small and while it was clean it was dreadfully uncomfortable. I would not recommend staying here again unless it’s peak season in July/August or else you’d be disappointed if you count on the amenities advertised.

Die Stühle waren sehr unbequem, es gab keinen Ort zum bequemen Lesen. Der Verkehrslärm durch die Strasse und geringes W- Lan. Alle Attraktionen waren nicht vor Ort sondern mussten angefahren werden.

La préparation du local et l'accueil chaleureux. Et bien sûr le paysage et le site sont exceptionnels. . Les infrastructures ludiques sont parfaitement entretenues. De superbes parties de pétanque. .

Très bon camping super équipe et très propre dans un écrin de nature

Camping au cœur des gorges du verdon avec beaucoup d espace jeux pour les enfants 2 piscines ( une de chaque côté du camping ) et accès au verdon avec 2 petites plages. Proches de tous les hauts lieu du coin. L équipement de la tente était parfait. Et avec une vue splendide sur les montagnes environnantes et au calme. La sortie rafting avec départ arrivée au camping était au Top. Bref on C est régalé (petits et grands) pour tout le séjour.

Le camping est séparé en 2 par la route des gorges du verdon. Cela peu être un peu dangereux pour les petits car certains roulent très vite et qu il y a peu de signalisation sur la route ( même pas un passage piéton)
