We spent 3 nights here before attending a wedding in Nice. The apartment was very clean, and contained everything we needed. Communication with Thomas was excellent, his advice on visiting the gorge and surrounding towns was excellent, and made this stay the highlight of our trip to France.

Charming apartment in sleepy medieval castle-village!

We needed a place to stay in the Gorges du Verdon area in early April 2019 and were so lucky to pick Trigance and Thomas’ property! Spring was the perfect time to visit, no tourists!! This apartment is located just off the “main drag”, literally a 100 m long street with the town’s one and only bar/restaurant (adorable cats outside), a wood-fired oven bakery (AMAZING bread), and small grocer (check out the view from the window!). Thomas was very communicative over VRBO and met us upon arrival. We were able to park right next to the flat but in busier seasons you’ll likely have to park in a lot down the hill, making it a short walk to the apartment. The flat itself is a large studio with a loft. It was very clean (looked newly renovated) and well equipped. Plenty of hot water (can be cold and rainy in spring!) and a fully enclosed shower (which we found to be a rare luxury in our stays throughout France). There is a loft and a bed upstairs, but probably best suited for children since the roof is only a few feet overhead on that level. The couch downstairs pulls out into a queen bed, which we found to be way more comfortable and less noisy if the mattress is then pulled off the spring frame and laid directly on the floor. Plenty of kitchen amenities and a small 2-burner electric stove (we cooked 3 nights straight, though you might want to bring in a few supplies since the local grocer was limited). The general amenities on the listing did say there was wireless internet but during our stay it wasn’t on and we needed to walk down to the bar to use their free WiFi. For a few quiet vacation days not having internet was no problem, but it could have been an issue. Visit the local wood-fired boulangerie and meet Luc the baker! Also, make your way up the hill to the castle which Thomas has turned into a snazzy jazz and wine bar. Amazing 360 views from the ramparts. Thank you Thomas for a wonderful stay during our honeymoon. Perfect base camp for enjoying the gorgeous Verdon wilderness. Hope to return! Regards, Arizona, USA

A few hours after flying into Nice we arrived at lovely Trigance. I loved the quiet of this small medieval town--so relaxing and peaceful. A wonderful boulangerie is just steps away. Great access to the Gorges du Verdon with its spectacular scenery as well as the picture-perfect town of Moustiers St. Marie. Thomas, the owner, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The pull-out bed was comfortable and the kitchen well-equipped. The only thing lacking was an internet connection but the bar around the corner had wi-fi and we were able to sit there as long as we wanted to access it.

This studio is in a building dating from medieval times and has been recently updated with all the modern conveniences. The tiny village of Trigance is charming and atmospheric. There is great local hiking and easy access to the Gorge of Verdun.The only suggestion we would have is that the landlord should provide local hiking trail maps and internet- the village is very quiet at night and it's a good time to catch up on things at home! Excellent otherwise- clean, modern and comfortable!

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour de 8 jours chez Guillaume. Son appartement est très agréable dans une jolie maison de village en pierre très bien située au coeur de Trigance. Des conseils de rando très appréciables. Cerise sur le gâteau une boulangerie au feu de bois délicieuse à 2 pas et un petit bar / restau ouvert même hors saison. Un top petit séjour. Je recommande !

Nous avons passé quelques jours très agréables à Trigance et grâce aux conseils de Guillaume nous avons put faire une jolie balade en départ directement du village. L'appartement est super et très bien équipé, propre et accueillant. Nous nous sommes aussi régalés avec les bonnes viennoiseries et autres de la boulangerie qui est juste à côté de la location.
