Clean room, friendly staff, drinks not strong enough

Transfers to the property are expensive, cheapest is like $70 from the Liberia Airport. Check-in went pretty poorly. It took forever to get checked in after a 45 minute ride to the property. When we got to the front of the long checkin line, the receptionist told us her turn was over and recommended we get to the back of another line. That frustrated me and my visibly pregnant wife. They eventually said they would check us in, but I’m pretty sure they retaliated against us putting us in a room really far away from the restaurants, beach, and main pool. The room also didn’t have any sort of view. When we got to our room, our fridge was broken and all the drinks inside were warm. Fortunately, once we showered and got over our frustrations, the rest of the trip went well. Good pools, good food, good service apart from check in. They fixed our fridge after submitting a request on the app. We also found a local bus that only charged us $3 a person to take us to the Liberia Terminal. It was hot and uncomfortable but worth it to save the $100 that the transfers were quoting us. If you’re interested in this option, you just have to walk to the entrance of the hotel and cross the street and wait for a bus that says Liberia. We saw monkeys while waiting too. The only other complaint was that there were a lot of bees everywhere especially at the drinks. The entertainment was also pretty lame tbh. I complained a lot but I actually really enjoyed my time.

The hotel seems recently upgraded / remodeled. The rooms were great, food amazing, and the staff very friendly. It could use a bit more water activities and organization. But generally, we had a very pleasant stay here. Will come back!
