I would definitely stay here again. It is just outside of Banff and quite a bit cheaper. There is lots to do in Canmore.

I cannot recommend this place due to several concerning issues.
I booked and paid in full online, including all taxes and fees as stated on the invoice. However, upon arrival, I was informed of an additional “resort fee” that had not been disclosed beforehand. Despite raising this concern with multiple staff members, the fee was later charged to my credit card without my knowledge or authorization. This felt highly inappropriate and misleading.
The property also advertises itself as a “resort,” which is inaccurate. There are no amenities that justify this label. There is no swimming pool (despite indications that there may have been one in the past), and the so-called “game room” is simply a basic, uninviting space that does not resemble a resort facility in any meaningful way.
When I entered the room, there was an extremely strong bleach smell—so intense it felt almost toxic. While I appreciate cleanliness, this was overwhelming and uncomfortable. Even after airing out the room for over 24 hours, the smell lingered and was physically noticeable when breathing.
Additional concerns included inconvenient underground parking and noticeable noise outside at night. Quiet hours begin at 11:00 pm, so if you are hoping for an earlier, restful evening, this may be a challenge.
Overall, the experience raised serious concerns about transparency, accuracy in advertising, and guest care. I would advise others to review charges carefully and clarify all fees in advance.
