Richard & Lulù in Rome

Some hosts are warm. Richard is warm, warm plus. :) He was so welcoming, and despite a little hiccup with the check-in, he went out of his way to make up for it. He went to get an extra cutting board when we needed it. Gave us useful suggestions for places we could visit in the surroundings. Those were decent advice, which really helped us along. He even helped me put some postcards in the mail when I didn't manage to do that by myself on the last day! That doesn't mean take advantage of his friendliness 😃 but it does mean solid 10 out of 10 for his care. Besides, what I really loved about the apartment is that our room was really quiet. In terms of transportation to the center, it's really easy to take a bus, very little walking. We often preferred that over a taxi as it was just as easy. There's even a washing machine, and putting the drying rack outside means everything will be dry in no time. Which was appreciated because I didn't have so much changing clothes. Anyway, great experience. I'd come back here when I go to Rome again!

Check-in process could have been smoother. Was a one-time event though.

The location is pretty good— it’s close to the metro, shops, and several nice cafés, which made getting around and exploring the city very convenient. The apartment itself is very comfortable and well-equipped. It has a coffee machine, a washing machine, and an iron, which made our stay even more convenient. The living room is large and spacious, providing plenty of room to relax and spend time together.

I stayed here in November and unfortunately my experience was disappointing. The room was very cold during my stay, and the heating in the apartment did not work. Although I was told it wasn’t possible to heat the place using the air conditioning, in my experience the unit did seem to have a heating mode that could have helped. At check-in, the owner also informed us that several things in the accommodation were not working, which was unexpected and affected the overall comfort of our stay.
