Opera Theater Relais

The location of the property was very good as the train station was maybe 10 minutes walk away. The Hop on Hop off bus stopped just around the corner too. We could walk to the Colosseum which was good. There was a cafe/restaurant next door for breakfast and the occasional meal which was handy. There were a couple of issues with the bathroom facilities and I contacted the staff whose response was very quick. They came to sort it all out the very next morning, checking with us first when we would be out. They were very good. The information provided to help us find our room was also very good with images to guide us along the way.

The room was nothing like the one at the top of this revue. It was quite gloomy as there was very little natural light coming in. The window was very high up and I couldn't be sure but I think maybe it opened out into the interior of the building. There was nowhere to hang our towels so had to hang them on cupboard doors or over the only chair in the room. A towel rail would have been useful.

Great location. Very clean and the bed was comfortable.

The actual name of the accommodation is not visible/existent. It is right beside an actual hotel and so the entry door was not easy to locate. We were told it was on ground level, but to reach the room there were quite a number of steps up and down, which were difficult to navigate with suitcases. We specifically requested ground level and felt the fact that there were steps leading to the room should have been explained. There was no coffee or normal tea, nor UHT milk. No bathroom supplies like a showere cap or soap were supplied.
