Hostess: Kati R, well organized, excellent communication skills, polite, informative, suggested a ferry trip after knowing my interests! I started communicating about 2 weeks before arrival. ALL my questions were professionally answered. Location: IN the lap of Finnish nature, berries, raspberries, strawberries, and June berries. Near Lautasarri bridge to Rhoulatti. Not too far from the cruise terminal to Estonia ferries! Accurate description with sufficient facilities for all home cooked meals. Markets: Several markets, restaurants, pizza, Chinese restaurants nearby. All your creature needs, easily met: Pharmacy, hair styling! Priced correctly! Clean Comfortable No smell In an apartment complex, civilized residents, pin drop silence every day. I stayed for 8 days. Stairs are clean. Elevator IF you have luggage. Easy flat walk to pick the keys. I took Metro to Rhoulatti, picked up the code from Posti Box, easy code entry. No problem in accessing the keys. I used this system for the first time! Completely safe, Lautasarri for family, including kids! Everything worked efficiently including cooking equipment. Wifi is strong, use the 5G option.

The beds were comfortable and the towels very good quality. The information inside the apartment's booklet was helpful. The location was very convenient and if the property was as described, the price is right.

Unfortunately we were informed a few days before our arrival that the key pickup was nearly 2kms away from the apartment. We were on foot with big heavy suitcases and our flight landed in the late afternoon, so this was a major hassle in the rain! It also involved several door codes and lock box codes, which was very inconvenient, especially since we didn't get time to organise a SIM card before arriving, so we had no internet. It took an hour from arriving at the local Metro station to actually letting ourselves into the apartment. The keys should be held in a secure lock box onsite or at least somewhere a WHOLE lot closer, and it does not say any of this in your listing! Another big disappointment was no dishwasher, which is in the listing. Also, no washing machine, toaster, kettle or hair dryer, even though the listing said 'fully-equppied kitchen'. The biggest problem, however, was no window coverings on the window in the kitchen (there's no door to the sleeping room) and only a sheer curtain in the sleeping room. These are not negotiable for jet lagged travellers, particularly when your apartment is in a country that gets lots of light throughout the night in summer! In spite of good contact and helpfulness before we stayed, there was precious little communication with Kati's and B.com's in response to our issues.
