Koszykowa 3 - Better Rental

The location was very good. Public transport was very close, there were parks nearby, and the street itself was quiet. It was spacious. The bed was comfortable, and the shower was good too. There were a lot of utensils and dishes available in the kitchen. We didn't use them, but it was nice to know that a hair dryer and iron (with an ironing board) were available. For longer stays, there's a washing machine and dishwasher too.

There could have been an extra closet or shelves for the clothes. There was only a closet in the bedroom, and it was not the most convenient. We ended up keeping our stuff on the ground or on the clothes dryer most of the time. It is not a big thing, but I'll mention it anyway. The use of the TV was limited if you didn't have an HDMI cable with you. We were able to use casting from a different device to the TV screen, but there's not much available if you just want to put a channel on or something.

The apartment is in a fantastic location — central, yet very quiet, as the rooms face the backyard. You don't hear any street noise, which is a real advantage. It’s well equipped and feels like home. There’s even a small washing machine (not mentioned in the listing), which was a pleasant surprise. The place is ideal for solo travellers or couples who want to stay in a cozy, peaceful spot.

Despite the nice design and location, the stay was unfortunately uncomfortable. There was only one duvet provided for two guests. The host refused to give a second one, claiming it’s their standard — which made every night difficult. I would not recommend this place for friends or parents with children who need more comfort and intimacy. Additionally, loud and disturbing noises were coming every night from the apartment above: evening exercising (sounded like jumping rope), loud and aggressive phone calls, and constant heavy walking across the room. It gave the impression that the person living above had trouble sleeping and possibly some personal issues, which made our nights feel tense and unsettling. These two issues — the lack of proper bedding and daily noise from upstairs — meant we couldn’t sleep well at all. Even though the apartment itself is pleasant, the overall experience was not restful or relaxing.
