When we arrived, we were welcomed by Emiliano (if I remember correctly), a very kind receptionist who helped us with our luggage. He made us feel very comfortable and explained everything nicely. The next morning, we wanted to spend some time at the pool, but soon realized that many guests were leaving towels on the loungers to reserve them and coming back whenever they pleased. Because of this, we were only seated in the third row. We were also told that sunbeds cannot be reserved, yet some cabanas had “reserved” signs on them. It was also quite noisy with many small children, so we decided not to spend the rest of our stay at the pool. We also had a reservation at La Cabane Beach Club, and although it is advertised that a golf cart will take guests there, the receptionist told us to either walk or take a taxi, which was disappointing. The restaurant staff was average, but the cleanliness of the hotel was excellent and the bed very comfortable. Overall, it was a very nice stay.

Great facilities, good breakfast and rooms are nice if a little compact. It has a retro feel but it has been tastefully modernised. The pool area is nice and gym is great. Can walk to beach and there is a tennis club next door which we used 2 or 3 times.

Hotel is a little close to the dual carrageway so if your room is high you can see/hear it. That said the double glazed windows cut out the sound. Location is good but little further out from marbella hot spot.

The Kimpton Los Monteros is a gem of a hotel we had a wonderful stay and loved the vibe. The staff and service were excellent. The staff could not have been more helpful and it is definitely a place we will return to. The location is perfect and not too hectic. Loved the interiors too.

I had an absolutely perfect stay at the Kimpton Los Monteros Marbella. From the moment I arrived, everything was flawless. I didn’t even need to leave the hotel – it had everything I could ask for: the pool, the rooftop, the restaurant, the gym – all top-notch. I especially loved the yoga sessions, which were incredibly relaxing, and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. My room was luxurious and spacious, with a stunning view that made it easy to unwind. A special thank you to Alex, who was incredibly kind and helpful. He gave me excellent advice when choosing my room and made sure everything was just right. This is the perfect place to recharge, soak up the sun, and enjoy some well-deserved rest. I highly recommend it!

We were excited that the hotel has reopened its doors this year. And we were also very happy to meet again with some of the old staff. The suite was very comfortable, with finally Smart TVS and new furnitures. The bed was cloudy and so comfortable. Everything was so well thought through. The Breakfast Buffet was excellent, the new swimming pool was amazing, we had lunch by the pool, it was tasty and delicious. I highly recommend it!

The Hotel had to keep its Spanish Andalusian touch. The reception is very modern and does not reflect the soul of the Los Monteros . The orange trees were taken down in the Patio by the reception, as well as the old fountain. Sad!

We stayed at Kimpton Los Monteros Marbella for our honeymoon, and it was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with such kindness—the staff upgraded our room and surprised us with a bottle of cava, a delicious dessert, and a thoughtful handwritten card. It was such a lovely welcome and set the tone for the rest of our stay. Every member of staff we encountered was exceptional—from the cleaning staff to the pool team, reception, breakfast crew, and the restaurant staff. Everyone made us feel genuinely cared for and added to the overall warmth of the experience. Our room was beautiful, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. The bed was large and so cozy, and the bathroom was modern with double sinks and a great shower. Even the hair dryer was powerful—no need to bring your own! I loved that the hotel used all Diptyque products. It felt very luxurious. Breakfast each morning was a highlight. I couldn’t wait for the almond croissants—they were absolutely delicious! The fruit selection was fresh, the bread was baked to perfection, and the scrambled eggs were impressively well-cooked—something that’s rarely done right in a hotel buffet. On our final night, we dined at Jara Restaurant and it was outstanding. The staff were amazing and so friendly and professional. I had the lamb, which was cooked to perfection, while my husband enjoyed the whole squid, which was also excellent. We ended the meal by sharing a rich chocolate dessert—so tasty and a perfect way to end the evening. We enjoyed cocktails by the pool daily—they were strong, well-made, and added to the relaxing atmosphere. The sun loungers were so comfortable and the towels were new and fluffy. The hotel itself is about a 10-minute drive from Marbella town, which was perfect for us—it felt peaceful yet conveniently located. The decor throughout the hotel is modern and stylish, with a calm, chilled-out vibe. And the scent throughout the property was divine!

Everything was exceptional. If I was to say something, it would be that the aircon in our room was a little loud at night. However, we were able to sleep as we just turned it off and opened the window. It was May so not too hot. We stayed in room 318.

Super stylish hotel, I go to Marbella regularly and this place was both goood value and high end.

The food was at times excellent but inconsistent

We had a duplex suite and it was just incredible. So much space, beautiful balcony etc. The breakfast was really good and we ate in the restaurant one night and that was delicious too. Loved our days by the pool and I did yoga one morning which was delightful.

Sometimes it was a little hard to get service around the pool but it was no big deal. Some other hotels have buttons for each table for ordering drinks and maybe that would be of use here too.

The property was well renovated whilst keeping the essence of the original place so it looks nice

I agree with most comments that for the price the service is very poor. It is not up to a 5 star at all and the idea that they just opened is no justification as they charge 5 star prices. We paid for 3 nights with lunches etc 770 euros per day, 2300 total. First we went to the pool but they have limited beds for the number of rooms so it was full, we took one of the cabanas that were free, after 3 hours they told us it was an extra charge for the cabana…. The service was very very slow, an hour wait for food in the restaurants, very late room cleaning, poorly trained staff that really dont know how to behave in a 5 star quality hotel. The last day was sunny and we forgot sunscreen, we went to reception but they had none, we couldnt even buy one which is extremely surprising in a 5 star beach hotel… but worse they told us to walk to the nearest mall to get some, 15 minutes away and crossing a highway…. We ordered through Uber and waited 2 hours for it. In any other hotel they would have it but if not they would offer to go get it for a fee. The rooms although spacious are very loud, all the walls are made of plasters and you can hear everything, we were awake very early.

Señalaría positivamente la actitud del personal, muy amables y atentos. En cuanto al hotel y sus instalaciones para ser un hotel renovado recientemente esperaba una decoración más cuidada, ha estado bien pero no es un hotel al que volvería.

En general todo nos gustó aunque pensamos que el hotel no llega al nivel de calidad en sus instalaciones de lo que por precio quizá esperábamos. También es verdad que con el mal tiempo que tuvimos no pudimos disfrutarlo mucho.

Hotelul este situat în apropiere de Marbella. Este frumos renovat, are grădini verzi și frumoase și este la o distanță de 5-7 minute de mers pe jos de mare. Nu știu dacă are plajă proprie. Micul dejun este diversificat, iar personalul deosebit de amabil și primitor.

Noi am rezervat o cameră “ essential”, care nu avea balcon și din păcate noaptea se auzeau zgomotele sistemului de ventilație.

Nos dieron una habitación que olía terriblemente mal y, a pesar de decirlo, no nos cambiaron a otra. En la cena, por tres lubinas ridículas a la plancha, una carne y tres copas de vinos nos cobraron 190 euros… un atraco a mano armada. El servio del restaurante, pésimo. Típico hotel de esta zona de Marbella… con buena apariencia, pero rascas un poco y es lamentable.

Todo genial, el hotel está de lujo todo nuevo y súper cómodo. Y lo mejor el personal, súper profesional, atentos y encantadores.

Séjour exceptionnel : hôtel magnifiquement décoré, propre, lumineux, très confortable. Chambre de grande taille, literie impeccable. Personnel souriant, gentil, très agréable Infrastructures de qualité : piscine, rooftop, patio, salle de sport, spa. Le massage de Maria était un moment de délice. Très bonne restauration : le petit déjeuner était un moment de bonheur tous les matins. Nous avons très bien mangé au bar du rooftop et au restaurant Jara également. Le cadre et l'ambiance permettaient l'apaisement. Tout était parfait ! De nombreuses délicates attentions que nous avons particulièrement appréciées. Nous envisageons de revenir quand la Cabane sera ouverte, en saison. A très bientôt.

Het meest beviel locatie, atmosfeer hotel, ontbijt uitgebreid, erg schoon, heerlijke kamers en service was geweldig. Happy hour in de binnentuin was een leuke extra.

De minibar op de kamer was erg duur. Hierdoor niet vaak gebruik van gemaakt. En hotelprijs per nacht is veel duurder geworden dan voor de verbouwing. Wat je verwacht na een update, maar 1750,- voor 3 nachten via booking.com te duur. Verder omdat ik bij booking geboekt heb, was het niet mogelijk het verschil van kamerprijs retour te krijgen. We hadden duplex suite geboekt, maar die kamer was erg hoog en ivm hoogtevrees partner zijn we gewisseld naar een premium kamer. Scheelt 500,- in prijs. Erg jammer. En tevens let op! Beachclub la cabana is gesloten per 1 oktober en daarom zijn er ook geen golfkarretjes naar de kust. Tip vermeld dit op de website en prijs mag daar ook wel op aangepast worden.

Es todo absolutamente recomendable. La comida excelente. El personal es lo más agradable y profesional que he visto en años

Havuz güzel kahvaltı müthişti-tavsiye ederim- Plaj doğal ancak Türkiye Yunanistan Arnavutluk taki müthiş sahillere göre vasat- marbella deniz için tercih olmamalı gezmek ce havası için ok- kesinlikle arabanız olmalı
