Cosy, quiet, full of character flat, 5 minutes walk from Harrods and the museums

The appartment was really fine. Yess, there is a handheld shower and you have to make sure not to wet the entire room. When you know that easy to do. The host responds real fast on questions. We have had a pleasant stay with the three of us. Two teenage girls and me the mother.We were also pleasantly surprised by the neighbourhood. Underground nearby, Harrods, Hyde park and lots of shops and restaurants and museums.

Lovely hosts, excellent flat for our needs

Aside for a few small problems - condition of washing machine and difficulty with the door locks our stay was enjoyable. It should be pointed out that the shower is very difficult to use.

First off, the location of this Vrbo is 10/10 - perfect homebase near the museums, shops, Hyde Park, etc. It was our family's first time together in London and this location alone made the space worth it.The actual space though, leaves something to be desired. The sleeping area is fine, functional. Same with the kitchen/living area. Both are slightly awkward and cramped, but no real complaints, I know how city apartments, especially basement units can be. The bathroom is poorly ventilated, shower lacks any curtain or barrier, so any time anyone bathed, it would make a huge mess and get the entire bathroom wet. Overall cleanliness was sub-par too, for this location and price. For the most part, we knew what to expect and were okay with trading off these comfort for location, but the bathroom issue was pretty tough to deal with.
