The check in was super easy.
It is a nice house in a great location.
There were a few things different from any stays I've had before: food in the fridge and cupboards, a full dish of pet food in the middle of the kitchen floor, empty beer can in the sink, the upstairs was blocked off but the lights were on and a window was open (which was odd to come back to at night), no binder with info inclucing wifi password, if we needed to strip beds, etc. One bathroom was very dirty and I had to clean the tub before we could use it. The towels looked old and the 1st one I used smelled very bad when it got wet. the closet in the main bedroom had a sheet covering it, no door. It had somthing very loud running in it, maybe a dehumidifier.
I stripped a bed and there was no mattress pad, and the mattress was very stained.
The house has a lot of potential, but some things need to be improved.

The property was not as great as it looked in the pictures. Overall not the cleanest. No hot water in the master bath. The front storm door did not close and was hanging by only one hinge. Master bath tub, which we would not have used anyway, had a broken faucet. Kitchen floors were warped and spongy. When we used the laundry it left our clothes with rust stains, the owner did offer to send us money for a product that he said would take the rust stains out. Overall not the best stay.
