The village of Warthe is located in the Lieper Winkel, arguably the most secluded spot on the island of Usedom, right on the Achterwaaser. This scenic area is considered an insider’s tip among cycling and hiking enthusiasts. The village features a beautiful, TÜV-certified playground for younger guests, and swimming in the Achterwasser is also possible at Warthe’s natural beach. The seaside resorts, which are always worth a visit, are about a 25-minute drive away. But here, on the reed-lined shores of the Achterwasser near the villages in the Lieper Winkel, you’ll find peace and quiet.
