Barcelona Gaudí Avenue Apartment - Near Sagrada Familia

Great location, great communication throughout the booking process and during our stay. Spacious for our group, great added extras of finding a sun umbrella for a beach day! Convenient WiFi and beautiful views from the balconies

Some areas of the property are beginning to look tired however this did not affect our stay at all. We would have preferred to have full length mirrors in each bedroom as mirrors were lacking if someone was in the bathrooms, however again this was just our preference.

The physical location was fantastic. Very close to Basilica of the Sagrada Familia. Very close to food venues and grocery stores. The balconies were a treat when relaxing in the evening. Overall, I would recommend this property to a friend.

The apartment could use little fixes like light bulb replacements. The kitchen could be a little better equipped. Could be a little more cleaning materials on site for you to use when needed

The location was spectacular, José our host was amazing and super friendly! He showed us around the apartment and pointed out helpful spots for us to go to!

Only small downside, if you are planning on sleeping in after a long night out, the apartment is close to the street which can be very loud

The location is great - just a stone throw away from Sagrada Familia (you can see it from the balcony). There are many tapas restaurants around as well as a few great breakfast/brunch options We didn't use the kitchen, but it looks like it has everything you may need. There's even a dishwasher and a washing machine which is convenient for a longer stay

1. Communication with the company was very unclear. I got contradictory messages from different people. Some of the staff on the support chat were nice and helpful. But one of the staff members was very rude - when I asked how to collect the keys I was told I can't do it as I refused to pay the tourist tax. I DID NOT REFUSE to pay it - I was never prompted to. He was basically accusing me in a non-acceptable way. Also, he gave me the sum to pay which was two times bigger than the actual amount. 2. I got conflicting instructions about the location of the apartment. One message said 'Apartment 1'. The thing is - there are apartments 1, 2, and 3 on EACH FLOOR. Then the message on the customer portal said 'Apartment 1, floor 6'. We went there but the keys won't match. So we were basically trying to get into somebody else's apartment - how embarrassing. When we realized the keys didn't match, I was going to call the emergency number given to me by one of the staff members in the support chat. And while I was browsing THAT chat, I saw it mentioned 'Apartment 1, Floor 1'. 3. Collecting keys: you have two options 1. pay extra (in our case EURO 50) for someone to come at hand you over the keys or 2. pick them up in a location that's about 15 mins drive from the apartment. It's a major scam 4. When you ask them if there's an option to store your luggage on the departure day, they give you the location they use as key lockers - which is quite far away. Don't be fooled - there are at least 3 locker locations available at a cheaper price a few blocks away - just search on google maps. 5. It was REALLY noisy during the night - old windows let the sounds through. So if you're sensitive in sleep like me, you won't really be able to get decent sleep. On our last night there were also some people slamming doors and shouting loudly just in front of our door - the walls are paper-thin so you hear everything 6.
