The barn was very warm & clean, and nicely done out, also had very comfortable beds. Phil was very helpful & accommodating to our late arrival!

The most stunning accommodation in a really beautiful location! My husband and l were delighted to spend four nights in The Hayloft and were blown away by the wonderful barn conversion. So hard to leave!!
Upon our arrival, Phillip was very welcoming and both he and Suzy were friendly and warm.
Parking was easy and the farm was in a peaceful and really lovely location, just a short drive from Ambleside.
The Hayloft exceeded our expectations, with a large airy, very comfortable interior, all the amenities we needed, and we slept so well!
We loved the walks with stunning views near the house, the sweet cats that came for cuddles and followed us up the paths. The other accommodations looked beautiful too, all close together but the barn walls are so thick we were not disturbed at all! We loved the outside seating area, the cockerel crowing (not first thing though, thankfully), and the sheep close by.
It was so good to come back to the accommodation after our walks and trips out, and sink into the comfortable sofas, feeling totally relaxed.
We really needed a break and rest, and felt wrapped in comfort, like a huge warm hug, from the moment we stepped into our home from home. Thank you for such a fantastic holiday in your amazing place. You can see the hard work that has gone in to making this a haven for your guests!

Nice location
No access to heating control
Very uncomfortable seating in lounge.
Nothing to put wet gear on to dry it after walking in the rain.
Quite a distance to carry luggage in and out of property even though the description said you could park close to property to unload....it wasn't that close.
