Syntagma Luxury Suites by CK-3

One of the nicest apartments I stayed in during my trip. The location is excellent, very central, and I was able to visit most of Athens on foot without using public transport. The apartment was spacious, quiet, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, honestly almost as comfortable as my own bed at home. The host was responsive and tried to address the issue when I reported it. Had it not been for the cleanliness problems, I would have happily given this property a perfect 10.

Unfortunately, the cleanliness was far below my expectations. I arrived at the advertised check-in time of 3:00 p.m., which I had already communicated to the host. When I arrived, the apartment was still being cleaned. The cleaners remained until around 3:30 p.m., after which I began unpacking. As I looked around, I noticed long dark hairs and dust in several areas of the apartment, including the floor and bathroom. I took photos and sent them to the host, who sent the cleaners back. During this second visit, one of the cleaners became visibly upset and started speaking loudly to me. I could not understand what she was saying, but the situation was uncomfortable. Another cleaner stepped in and calmed things down. Even after they left, the floors still did not appear to have been properly cleaned. I sent a video to the host to demonstrate the issue. In the end, I purchased cleaning products myself and cleaned the apartment because I was not comfortable living with someone else's hair and dirt around the property. This was particularly disappointing because the apartment itself is fantastic and could easily have been a perfect stay if higher cleaning standards had been maintained.

Spacious and clean. Good and safe location. Very comfy bed. Host was very nice and helpful.

-Access code to the flat was difficult to gain. It should have been sent by email prior to my arrival. What saved me that I had an international phone number and been able to ring the host (not everyone has this luxury, especially international travellers). -Wifi was a bit problematic. -Not having an extractor fan in toilet felt a little nasty. -Lift wasn’t working on my last day of stay. These were a little problems, but definitely will come again as the stay was comfortable in general.

Perfect location, spotless and extremely clean apartment. The owners were very helpful and available whenever we needed them, at any time. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this apartment. We will definitely come back!

No tiene vistas. En frente teníamos un andamio por lo que estuvimos 3 días sin abrir las ventanas.
