M Apartments with Balcony

We’ve been visiting Albania for years, but this was the first time we’d stayed in Peshkopi. Of course, we went there for the spa, but I have to say that the town itself was a real, pleasant surprise. We met nothing but kind, friendly people. The town is great for a walking and a look around, and it’s also an excellent spot for nature lovers and hikers. The tradition of an evening stroll, the ‘giro’, is still very much alive here, and we were delighted to take part. The accommodation and our hosts also embody one of the most important Albanian traditions – hospitality, or ‘besha’ – to the very highest standard. The whole family are very friendly; it’s a real pleasure to be their guests. The restaurant they run showcases the traditions of Dibra County – I can’t recommend it highly enough! The flat is very clean, well-equipped, spacious, comfortable and has a superb view of the mountains. The charm of the town and the spa is a real surprise, and this accommodation is an excellent choice for a visit.
