ARBI GUEST House

The owner was lovely, very kind and helpful. Having a balcony was super and the room was spacious and light. We had use of a communal fridge and, as we arrived on honey harvest day, were given fresh honey to taste.

Het appartement lag op een prima locatie. De kamer was helemaal in orde en er werd zelfs een TV van een andere kamer gehaald en voor ons neergezet. Erg vriendelijk en erg gastvrij.

The place was very clean and the owner was helpful. He arranged a taxi for me to cross the border of Kosovo for a fair amount of money. He speaks good English which is rare to find in Albania.

I was welcomed by the owners kid (10 years old) and did payment with the kid. Beds and mattresses were so uncomfortable. The location is a bit outside the city centre. There weren't any facilities like the kitchen, kettle, glasses, spoons, nothing (only fridge). The Internet was not so good but the situation was solved by connecting to the neighbours WiFi. The view from the window was the wall to the neighbours building. The stay was pretty much expensive for a standard of living in Kukës. You can find cheaper places in cities like Skopje, Prizren, or even in Brussels where I stayed for 17€ a night. That cannot be compared to undeveloped Kukës.
