Close to the airport, clean, looks new, communication with owners was really good.

Building didn't look promising when we entered. But apartment thankfully was.

Tuvimos una excelente experiencia. El lugar estaba impecablemente limpio, cómodo y muy bien ubicado. Raffaele fue extremadamente atento y amable durante toda nuestra estadía, siempre dispuesto a ayudar con cualquier consulta. Además, el alojamiento ofrece un muy buen servicio de apoyo para los traslados y la logística de llegada y salida, lo que hizo nuestra estancia mucho más cómoda. Sin duda volveríamos a alojarnos aquí y lo recomendamos totalmente.

Our stay at La Familia was exactly what we needed. The room is a bit small if you’re planning to stay for a longer period, but it is perfectly sufficient for a one-night stay when you need a quick transfer to or from the airport while in transit to other destinations. The cleanliness was impeccable, and both the room and bathroom are new, modern, and very well maintained. Communication with the hosts was very easy and fast. They even helped us organize our early morning transfer to the airport, and for that we would especially like to thank Luigi, who not only drove us to the airport in the morning but also picked us up the evening before from Piazza Garibaldi. We warmly recommend Luigi — everyone’s friend :) — and an excellent driver as well! The ride from Piazza Garibaldi to the accommodation was quite an experience in the best way :) We happily recommend this accommodation — everything was smooth, easy, and very well organized.

Unfortunately, our bad luck was that we happened to stay at the same time as some extremely noisy guests who made a tremendous amount of noise when arriving or leaving. I was so tired that I couldn’t even tell exactly when it happened, only that I was woken up at different times during the night—especially since we also had to wake up very early for an early flight. However, this was not the hosts’ fault at all, but rather the behavior of guests who did not respect the peace and quiet needed by others staying there.

Once we got into the unit, got the lights working, and AC unit on, the unit was clean, with plenty of space for us to open and rearrange our luggage. There was also a mini-fridge in the little main entry lobby that had waters and some drinks available for us. The host was also very responsive and easy to connect with via WhatsApp, even though we didn't check in until after 10pm. They were also able to schedule an early morning shuttle for us, which we appreciated because it was very difficult for us to get an uber or taxi in the area.

We knew when booking our stay that it wasn't necessarily in a great neighborhood-- but it was inexpensive, close to the airport and had good guest reviews, so we decided to book this for 1 night on our last night in italy while we waited for our flight home which was early the next morning. At night, the entrance gate was very difficult to see from the street; our taxi driver passed it and had to turn back, but we finally found it. There are two protective lock-gates that get you into the stairwell-- if you accidentally close the second gate (which we did) you have to go back to gate #1 and enter the code again to get both door-gates open. When we got into the main stairwell, we saw that there wasn't any elevator and the place was definitely not ADA friendly. It was almost 11pm and we were tired from traveling all day when we realized we had to lug all of our luggage up two levels of extremely hard marble stairs.. it wasn't pleasant, but we made it. Our biggest issue with the unit was that the wifi wasn't working properly and wouldn't connect to our devices at all. This was a big inconvenience as free/working WiFi was one of the reasons we booked this place. We were wanting to get some work done in the evening before resting, and not being able to connect to the wifi kept us from doing that. While we were grateful that the room was clean, it wasn't exactly comfortable. Cold, hard marble floors, a thin, stiff bed with large, very firm pillows made sure that we did not get a good night's sleep. The available bath towels were small and scratchy.. it definitely felt as if they had been used and washed too many times. Lastly, our experience with their airport shuttle wasn't top notch. Because I had seen photos of a shuttle with their logo on it, I was expecting a comfortable, clean and easy ride to the airport. Unfortunately, what we got was an old, very run down van that smelled like cigarettes.
