A very, cosy castle

From the outside, we were a bit worried. Once we entered, it was love at 1st site! Nice layout and all the comforts of home! So clean and well appointed. Gorgeous!

Nothing. We discovered "Ownies" (a pub) the 1st nite, thanks to a kind neighbor! We easily traveled to many sites from Carrickfergus and it was a wonderful visit!

Pleasant stay across from the castle

Inside was great.

Exterior through which we gained access was funky. Posting a memo explaining operation of washing machine and procedure for drying would be nice.

Very relaxing, comfortable and cosy. A 10 out of 10 experience.

The location was secluded and quiet. The interior of the apartment was well maintained. There was a welcome basket which was much appreciated after our long drive. The kitchen was clean and well-stocked.

The outside of the building and the parking area were a bit sketchy and weren't as well maintained as the interior of the apartment.

I liked that the property was so central to the town. The apartment was spotless, it was just excellent in every way which helped to make you feel relaxed.

Excellent base in a well appointed property

Carrickfergus is a great base for a holiday. There are restaurants, supermarkets and takeaways very close to the property. The property was cleaned to an excellent standard and there was a beautiful Christmas tree which was lit to welcome us when we arrived. There was also a welcome pack which was appreciated.

very pleasant property , very clean well furnished. great location

the location was fantastic...... the hosts were very helpful when we had a bit of a unexpected crisis....... the welcome hamper was a unexpected bonus.... thank you and we will be back

we got a bit confused with kitchen hob but that could just be our old age
