The Rounds

Absolutely idilic location. Close enough to Tenby, Saundersfoot, Fally Farm, Heatherton and all the other gorgeous beaches and tourist hotspots and not too far off the beaten track that you need a 4x4 to reach it, BUT hidden away just enough to be able to enjoy the postcard picture views in peace and quiet The hosts were very welcoming and greeted us to show us around amd left us to enjoy what they had for offer but would have been on hand should we have needed anything or to answer any questions Now for the site itself. The site was immaculate. The showers and the communal barn area were clean and not only functional but absolutely bloody gorgeous. From the stone hand basins to the slate signs and natural wood…it was evident that real thought had gone in to making it look and feel gorgeous and it 100% did just that. The bell tent we stayed in for 2 nights was also absolutely gorgeous. Super clean with everything you need to be comfortable: touch lamps, comfy bed, lush bedding, throws and pillows and to top it off we were welcomed with a tray containing some tea bag’s, water, juice and crisps ALL MADE IN WALES. This was a really nice touch and was especially appreciated by my partner who is from over the boarder (Portsmouth). This was a really nice touch. I am a caravan owner and have stayed in all types of camping/glamping pods, tents and huts all over Wales and the UK and I have to say none of them felt as luxury and are just as aesthetically pleasing as they are functional, comfy and value for money than these at The Rounds! We cannot wait to visit again!!

There was nothing not to like….even in the torrential rain we had the second night, the place was perfect!

Wonderful views and such a cozy well thought out site! James and Darcy could not have made us feel more welcome and gave us some really good suggestions of local things to do and see. It was lovely having a chat with James on the last evening and we can really tell he cares alot about the experience. The site itself is stunning the views are much better than the pictures. The bathrooms and showers are stylish and very user friendly! The barn is wonderful and I can imagine very useful on a rainy day (although we didn't have any of those!) We particularly loved how quiet things were in the evenings; it truly is a most wonderful place to switch off and relax by the fire

Don't be like us and forget cooking equipment and bowls and utensils etc! Luckily James very kindly lent us a few bowls and cutlery. Just remember it's still camping and the barn is super lovely but only really has a fridge and kettle in ways of a kitchen. Again no fault of the site just our poor planning but it all worked out!
