Primrose - 1 Bedroom Cottage - Llanteg

It was close to seaside - only two miles away.

It’s just off a very busy main road and the traffic noise was pretty constant, though it was okay once inside the cottage.

Host was extremely helpful in assisting us to book an extra night when we could no find. Fully equipped kitchen. To see the beautiful countryside, the horses and 4 resident beagles

some TLC to a couple of areas eg pipework in bathroom, base of cooker, dying plants and weeding

Great location, relatively quiet considering how close to the road it is. Washer/Dryer a bonus. Comfortable bed, good shower, fridge was useful.

A fantastic location with easy access to Saundersfoot, Tenby, and the Gwili Railway. The property was exceptionally clean throughout and had excellent facilities and appliances. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed, and the mattress was extremely comfortable, making for a great night’s sleep. The enclosed garden was on the smaller side but was ideal for our dog to enjoy safely. The owners’ dogs were a lovely addition and kept us entertained, and the pony in the neighbouring field was a charming bonus and even came to say hello to our hound. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

There was very little to fault. The washer-dryer was a great feature, though a clothes horse would have been a useful addition, as hanging clothes to dry was slightly tricky without one. A BBQ wasn’t provided in the garden, which wasn’t an issue for us but would be worth knowing for anyone planning to enjoy marshmallows or a barbecue evening. The property is slightly overlooked, as the owners live directly opposite, though at no point did this feel uncomfortable or intrusive. These are minor points, though, and didn’t detract from an otherwise excellent stay.
