15 minutes walk from Maximir Park and 25 minutes walk from the city center, well-equipped apartment, good wifi, helpful host, free parking place

No former info about check-in via WhatsApp communication channel, no mosquito net on windows, only one duvet, slightly tender mattress, not enough or missing curtains, the building is too close to the neighboring (ugly) building so the balcony is useless

Ho appena alloggiato in questo appartamento per due notti ed è stata un’ottima esperienza. La casa è perfetta per una coppia: appena ristrutturata e arredata con gusto, è dotata di tutti i comfort, tra cui lavatrice, lavastoviglie, frigorifero combinato, forno, microonde e piano cottura a induzione. È presente anche un balcone. Un altro grande punto di forza è la tranquillità della zona, ideale per dormire senza alcun rumore. La posizione è eccellente: nel raggio di 10 metri si trova davvero tutto, tra cui due supermercati, panifici/pasticcerie, la fermata del tram (che in pochi minuti porta in centro e ovunque si voglia), oltre a ristoranti e locali da asporto. La host è stata bravissima e molto disponibile: ha risolto un piccolo disguido in modo rapido ed efficiente. Quando tornerò a Zagabria, sceglierò sicuramente di alloggiare di nuovo in questo appartamento.

The bed was very uncomfortable due to an old mattress with a deep indentation in the middle, making it nearly impossible to sleep properly. The host was also quite unprofessional. She required a 90-minute notice before check-in, which is both unusual and difficult to manage when traveling. On the day of check-out, we had arranged to meet at a specific time to return the keys and pay the €7 parking fee. However, she was 10 minutes late. When I called to check her whereabouts, she didn’t answer but later sent a message saying she was delayed due to traffic and would arrive soon. Since I had a scheduled meeting, I informed her that I needed to leave. I also took the opportunity to mention the mattress issue, which I had hoped to discuss in person, and asked her to send me her IBAN so I could transfer the parking fee via online banking, as I no longer had time to return to the apartment and leave cash — a situation caused by her own delay. Despite this, she failed to respond and instead reported to Booking.com that I had violated the apartment’s policies and still owed €7 for parking.
