Beautiful apartment in a beautiful town
The property is in an excellent location. It’s only a 2 minute walk into the centre of the town, where there are plenty of restaurants, cafes and shops. There is a good sized Intermarche pretty much opposite the apartment building which provided everything we needed for the fortnight we were there. The train station is only a 10 minute walk or so, from where you can be in the centre of Geneva in just over an hour. The apartment is a really good size. There was only the two of us but it’s easily big enough for a family. It was very clean, well appointed with all the appliances you need, and the owners even provided the laundry and dishwasher tablets so we didn’t have to buy any. The parking is very secure (one thing to note though is that our car, a Tesla Model 3, only just about fit in garage space, so I think anything bigger will probably struggle). The owners were brilliant as well. We had a problem with the shower one day and they had someone out to fix it that afternoon, even though it necessitated buying and fitting a new mixer.
The traffic noise from the road can be a bit intrusive when you’re sat in the lounge/kitchen area, even with the windows closed. It’s not a problem for sleeping though, as the bedrooms are at the back of the apartment and with the doors closed it blocks out all the traffic noise. The bedrooms could benefit from a fan, either a ceiling fan or a free standing one, as it got a bit hot and stuffy a few nights.

Moderní byt v Evianu
Výborná poloha bytu. K jezeru, do centra města i k pramenům to je kousek pěšky. Pěkný moderně zařízený byt. Velké pokoje, hodně úložných prostorů. Ocenili jsme i další drobné vybavení, šampón, mýdlo, ubrousky, tablety do myčky, prácí prášek.
Poměrně malé parkovací místo v garáži. Navíc je tam tma a světlo se musí rozsvítit ručně. Jelikož máme větší rodinné auto bylo to docela nepohodlné. Cestovali jsme v 5 a chtěli jsem použít rozkládací gauč, když jsme ho rozložili, vypadalo to, že prostěradlo a matraci nikdo nečistil roky. V kuchyni chybělo některé vybavení škrabka na brambory, vařečka.
