Huberbauer Hof

The location was great! We couldn't expect for more. Everything was super clean and nice furniture. It was so quiet, the house is located right next to the mountain. We loved staying in Berwang at this house and we would recommend it anytime to anyone.

Excellent location with several great hikes out of the door, well equipped, clean and good value.

We found ourselves delayed on arrival through no fault of our own. We informed the host, but they told us late check-in wouldn't be possible. We assumed they had another commitment, so we ended up driving 9 hours without a break with two small children to get there on time. After we arrived, the host didn't seem in any particular rush, so we were not sure why no flexibility was possible. Then, even though we had specifically asked months in advance and in writing about pony riding for our children and had been told it would be possible, when we arrived we were told pony riding was cancelled. Our children were very disappointed. It would have been nice to inform us in advance so we could manage expectations. Finally, given you have to bring your own bedding, woolen blankets would be more suitable than duvets, which are not ideal with hut sleeping bags. The pillows were a little odd, very large but almost flat.

Het appartement was ok.

Het onthaal was beneden alle peil. Hun talenkennis als verhuurders van 3 appartementen aan toeristen is beneden alle peil en zo goed als onbestaande. Alles dient met cash geld geregeld te worden en niets via bank. Onbeleefd en wantrouwig. Gans de dag geluidsoverlast van werkzaamheden op de zolderverdieping. Geen rust. Boerderij waar kinderen thuis zijn? Geen dieren en niets voor kinderen voorzien buiten wat oud speelgoed van hun kinderen.
