Apartment was in a working class part of town - some of it a little sketchy. But once inside it was fine. We got in late and left early. For our purposes it worked. It was the least expensive accommodations I found for the one night in all of Anchorage.

Very comfortable beds, good space inside. If you have a car it's a good midtown location. Host was excellent and very kind to leave us drop off our fridge food early.
Looks a bit rough when you pull up outside but it's fine once you're inside. It's a basement apartment in a building with a shared building entrance and the laundry facilities are shared so you may have to wait to use machines. There was only one very small pot and no oven baking tray so this is a small thing that could be improved.

Inside was nice and comfortable
Couldn’t lock one window. It was in a fourplex and we were downstairs. Upstairs was up all night pounding on the floor, stomping feet, and being a general nuisance. These are permanent party renters. Very difficult obtaining a good nights rest. Was quiet when kids left at 0900 the following morning.
