Toda house

Location was good. Not right in the centre of the old town, but close enough for a walk or short taxi ride. There were plenty of places nearby to get breakfast and lunches. Furniture etc was simple but all we needed. Beds are hard, this seems to be standard in Vietnam and I was the only one who likes this! Location is down a small side alley, so it was really nice and quiet.

There was a bit of mold here and there, probably because of the age and the fact that there were no windows that could open. Only two rolls of toilet paper across three toilets, with a family of five more would have been helpful. Also, whilst there is a washing machine/tumble dryer there was no washing powder provided. When I asked about this I was told that they had just run out and could I go buy some myself. Whilst cheap I don't really want to be buying items such as this that I am never going to take with me.

The location is really perfect for a walk to the lake and old town. Lots of restaurants are only minutes walk. The host is very communicative and she answered very quickly all our requests.

L'emplacement est parfait, non loin su lac et des commerces dans le vieux quartier Nous étions 5 avec nos enfants (3 jeunes adultes) et avons apprécié les 4 chambres. Les hôtes ont gardé nos valises entre nos 2 séjours car nous avons voyagé vers le centre et sommes revenus sur Hanoï, c'était très gentil de leur part.

La maison est typique (maison tube) mais qui mériterait un rafraîchissement et sans luminosité. Les salles de bain sont très sommaires (sans cabine de douche) comme souvent en Asie. Et pévoyez de la monnaie pour le paiement car ils vous le demanderont dès votre arrivée.
