Property keys were available 24 hours a day at a location close to the apartment.

The host takes a €50 deposit into a personal bank account before arrival. This adds an additional bureaucratic step that you have to look out for and is a risk. Two days after leaving, I had not got my deposit back and had to ping him to ask for the deposit. The deposit should really come back completely automatically within a day of departure. I wonder if the host is only returning deposits when asked, which would allow him to pocket the deposits that some guests forget about.

It is near the old town center, you don’t need public transport for most of the attractions in the city and you have a bus and a tram line that takes you directly from the airport to the accomodation. The owner is very responsive and with precise information. You have all the things that you need for your stay.

It should be a bit more clean because there was dust in the bathroom and some dirt in the kitchen, on the spoons, plates etc but not a big deal. Also the shower cabin leaks and the water doesn’t flow good so you can have a flood in the bathroom if you take a long shower (especially for women).

The accommodation itself was excellent and great value for money.

Very poor and unacceptable communication that was almost non existent. The key for the property is situated in a key box on the street, far away from the property. On arrival, I asked for the code and did not receive any response. Numerous calls to the host were unanswered. There is no email address available for them either. It took over an hour and after intervention from Booking.com to finally resolve this. Despite only sending me some information the day before travel on information to be sent there was no engagement on how to send this. I was asked to pay a €50 deposit the day before check in, initially into a Revolut account which did not work and then by IBAN transfer. Following departure and after numerous requests for this to be returned, I am still waiting for the deposit to be repaid, nearly 2 weeks later, which on any view is outrageous. I do not expect to get that money back so factor in an extra €50 for your stay.
