Good location just outside of Newton Stewart and great place to stay with a big kitchen and space for the family to sit and eat together. Wildlife outside and around the area, nice patio to sit at, gated access to the property.
Booking.com states no extra charge for pets but when we arrived we were told £30 for the dog, which is fine as many places do this, just need to update the listing. There's no way to add the dog to the booking here, so the owner was surprised.
The bedroom doors rattle when closed, so made noise during the night as the windows were open which kept a few people awake. Wedged some paper in to stop it, but would hope that gets fixed for the future.

Clean, spacious, well equipped
Issue with size of oven trays not being big enough to fit on the oven racks .. minor problem not really an issue .
