Handy for the town and getting to walking areas locally. Food was well cooked and presented in the restaurant in the evening. Parking was easy.
Our room was at the top of the hotel and was very hot with no conditioning and also had a Low ceiling so if you are tall like myself you will hit your head repeatedly. Noisy pipes so woken up early in the morning. Bathroom fairly ancient. Mattress could do with replacing. Room with stairs has a green emergency light on all the time.
There’s a children’s play area at the bottom of the outside area which is used to keep the children of the many local families that visit the garden amused …so if you don’t mind the constant shouting of children in the evening then you’ll be ok.Lounge and breakfast room subjected to fairly unpleasant pop music from breakfast time til the evening. General smell of bleach in the bar area. Not a peaceful experience if that’s what you seek. The constant radio and TV at breakfast is just not conducive to a mellow holiday experience. Don’t think anybody asked us how our stay was. Probably a good thing.
